Thank you! I’m going to revisit this one again since I think I’ve grown in my skills a little more. Hopefully it will help others make one for themselves too!

Trick for temperature control: I bought a cheap six foot extension cord, a metal exterior grade outlet box, and a dimmer switch… You put the switch in the box and cut the cord in half…(i recommend actually cut 12 inches or so from the female end) Run the cord into the switch box and then out the other side with the female end (obviously with the dimmer as an interrupt between the two sides of cord) From there plug in anything and you can control the power level with the dimmer I use it to regulate temperature on a soldering iron, works great!

Haha it’s coming and I’ll discuss how I do mine specifically. Some people like to measure exactly to scale but I think doing the sewer bricks a little bigger

Hey! Curious what you used to cover the holes on those sewer entrances?
@thomasgoesnostalgic8 ай бұрын
Air Duct Flanges 6inchs pvc. There are others ways to do it. The only thing I don’t like about them is you have the cylinders are two inches long so they kind of stick out. You could cut them off and sand the edges smooth. This was my first project so I just kind of lived with them being longer. My next episode I’ll show different ways to do them. The flanges are about $10 each but there are more economical ways to do it.

We need measurements. What does each brick measure? The diameter of the round doorways?
@thomasgoesnostalgic2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! So it depends….when I did these sewer bricks I did them more like cinder blocks…I do 1inch tall by 2inch long. The air ducts are 6inches in diameter :) hope that helps! I’m future videos when I truly document each step, I will go more in detail and post links to the products

I use two different kinds- a brand from the Dollar Tree and a brand from Hobby Lobby. They are circular magnets. I will try and show them in the next build I do! Thanks for watching!

That’s awesome! Are you doing a toon dio or movie? This was my first project so I didn’t completely know what I was doing. If I were to go back, I would make the whole couch out of thick soft foam. Like foam used in like a memory foam cushion. Maybe someday
