If Playmates does this right they could make a fortune. Times are tight right now and there is definitely a market for these. Release them slowly and plentiful over time so fans can enjoy them and not have to worry about breaking the bank. Sewer Set, Modular Vehicle and especially a Channel 6 News Van please.

I actually stumbled onto the Party Wagon, Raph, and Mike at my local Walmart yesterday. I had no idea these even existed. The Party Wagon box is a bit crushed but I still picked it (and the two turtles) up without hesitation. I'm a sucker for old school packaging.

I have been on the hunt for one. I wanted one as a kid and was able to get one now at 37. I am not a reseller or anything. I’m excited to give it to my five year old. Just giving him something I wanted as a kid is super exciting for me.

They should have paid attention to the little things that made this toyline one of the greatest toyline in history. Such as pizza points, the bomb stickers and for crying out loud place the stickers separately so that the user can put it on themselves. Putting on stickers was fun , now they have removed half fhe fun. Not forgetting the turtle asembly manual and also the joke book. These little things gave life to the toyline which all real tmnt toy collectors loved

I unfortunately was impatient and bought all four turtles online just to find them all in Walmart later on. But now I have a set mint on card and one set to enjoy with the Power Wagon that I actually found in the wild. And I've ordered a repro set of stickers so it'll look just like the original. 😎

Just put mine together. I gotta say the plastic feels much softer and more malleable than the original. The stickers being pre-applied was fine, but the factory really screwed up the name sticker on my roof spoiler, so it was not centered and now has a big rip through the middle. No "Stink-O" or "Laugh Gas" stickers on the bombs kinda sucks, I agree. If they're doing the blimp these will need to be cross-compatable, so who knows why they redesigned the bombs and removed the blimp peg holes. The mounted mirrors are so soft and weak that you can't even turn the guns without bending then out of shape. Unfortunately they really hold their form when they're misshapen, too. The windshield cover barely holds on and the slightest touch that isn't a picture-perfect up or down motion will snap it right off. It's not snug at all. Those attached accessories really could have been better. I'm not a naysayer, it's better than nothing and perfect for my kiddo to get the experience, but it feels slightly cheaper and more breakable than my original. I'm grateful to have found it on the shelf, though, so I shouldn't complain. I have wanted a sewer remake but after seeing how they skimped on the durability here, I'm not sure. I mean, the lid doesn't even sit completely flush when it's closed and always has a gap, so how can we depend on them for quality now? EDIT- I don't know if this matters, but the copyright info stamped under the wagon says "2013 Viacom International Inc." So does that mean this is a re-issue of an old build? Was the 2013 re-release this flimsy and cheap?

@@impendingdoom385 the reissue is not the original glider!! It's the 2012 version of the glider with the original blimp. This party wagon isn't the original either. It's the news van. Look at the gap where the tenderizer is supposed to connect with the roof. That's the upper part of the news van that connects to the roof!!

Have you compared the new reissue Party Wagon to the 2012 reissue? Really wondering if there is a drop in quality as $35 is really cheap as I believe the 2012 reissue was more like $60. I know the new reissue TMNT figures are really cheap looking compared to the 2012. Which at the time, I thought the 2012 figures looked/felt cheap compared to the 1998 reissues I have. I'd say I think the 1998 reissues are probably the best figures as they look/feel like the originals, and the ones I have aren't sticky unlike some of my originals.

i actually found one today(box in great shape too), didn't expect it but i checked toys and there one was on the shelf, and i grabbed it the second i saw it. there was another guy about my age(42) in the isle, and i bet i grabbed it right before he saw it. idiot scalpers ruin stuff like this cause they're never on the shelf, and people have to pay triple for them on ebay. they need to make new rules on no new toys being sold over retail price on ebay, etc. i'm of course keeping this, and opening it. always wanted one as a kid and never got one until now. i didn't even know anyone that had one, and only managed to play with one 1 time for a few mins with some kids i didn't know outside once, i just went over and asked to check it out.

Can’t stand these exclusives. They re-issued Castle Grey skull this year, as a Walmart exclusive. Completely sold out online. Never found one in my local Walmart. Had to end up paying double, from eBay scalper. It’s going to be the same thing with the van. Glad I still have the vintage one. Great review

The Castle Grey Skull went clearance. I was able to pick up two of them that I found on shelf for the price of $18.49 each. One had a crushed box while the other was in good shape (not mint but close.). One to open and set up and the other to leave in box for display.
