Haha, glad you could see it. They were collecting the series in tpb’s a couple years ago If you don’t want to pick up the issues themselves. They do t look as nice, but it’s better than nothing, especially since prices continue to rise.

the 1990 wave was so legendary. Glad I found these vids, I really enjoy the lore deep dives with the figures (keep up the great stuff found you via looking for Super7 toy reviews). I remember Wingnut best because I lost 1 wing on my vintage toy, and also I played the hell out of Tournament Fighters. I later got the Cassette tape for the Archie comics ( I didn't know what they were adapting as a kid) But its for that reason I wish these guys had more prominence in modern TMNT media its wild in 2022 that I know fully anticipate a NECA Archie WIngnut figure. I also agree I prefer blue and purple Wingnut/Screwloose over Brown and Yellow.

Thank you! The Super7 Raph is what got me to start making videos! I would love NECA to make an Archie Wingnut and Screwloose. Eventually I reached a point as a kid where I began to like the Archie Comics more than the cartoon so I’ll take anything they decide to put out. There’s a ton of awesome Archie characters that never got enough attention so I’m glad NECA is finally putting some of them out.

Good stuff as always, dude. Any thoughts on some of the neca stuff coming out of sdcc? That new SOTO Shredder looks pretty tight. Also did you happen to see that leaked Walmart pre order for the neca farm 2 pack?

I think Soto shredder looks awesome. I’m definitely going to buy all of the Fred wolf series. I have t heard anything about the far two pack.

Before the Wingnut and Screwloose episode of the of TMNT, Mike did give Aprils father the Nick name Wingnut in one of the episodes when he's fighting him

Thanks to the Cowabunga Collection we got concept artwork for all characters including Wingnut (tournament fighters) I want to correct while he does have his smaller wings, all of his special moves in air you can see he brings out the metallic wings. Not sure how thatworks, but technically he DOES have them, Its weird like he pulls the metal wings out to dive at you or fire his projectile but not when on the ground.

I didn’t notice that. I’ll have to go back and take a look at the game again. I haven’t made my way through all of the concept work yet, but I’ll make sure to check tournament fighters to see what cool stuff they included for Wingnut. I was pretty impressed with what they had for all of the games I browsed.

I always thought it was stupid that Wingnut and Screwloose were the villians in the show, quite blank and boring alien invaders (considering the fact that they've already had a good examples like Krang, his cohorts Shreeka, Drakus and vicious Triceratons ). It was strange even before I found their toys. Like, seriously, The Wingnut wearing a Batman costume from 66, and Screwloose with his pallete reminded me the Robin ( Dick Grayson). Firstly, I've watched the cartoon, then my parents bought me the comic book with this blood-thirsty duo and I liked this origin so much better than the show's one. But when my little brother bought himself an action figure of Wingnut a little bit later on Christmas, I've read the description on the back of the package and convinced myself that the plot of the episode like never happened and I just refused to admit that the cartoon version has ever existed. So I don't think that Neca should have made this characters, giving up the Neutrinos in their favor.

Haha, I don’t blame you. It is kind of weird that they’re invading the Earth. Especially since they completely wuss out at the lightest of Tmnt resistance. The 2012 version of them was pretty awesome, but the designs weren’t as cool as the old one. I think Neca is saving the neutrinos for something big. Probably the next sdcc set, I would have preferred them over the one we got this year, but the new set has a lot of cool things included. The neutrino set needs to include the Grybyx.

Neat! To be honest I haven’t played any of the new games after the 2012 wii game, I’ve been slacking a lot. I just want a physical version of that new Tmnt game on the switch!
