@@terrencehill502 Plus, the Last Ronin comic may be an adult comic, but it's still part of Ninja Turtles franchise. And nowadays, EVERYONE who doesn't look at the franchise regularly thinks Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is for children. No way it's gonna go dark and gritty, especially since (again) it's own by Nickelodeon now. The same channel that gave us SpongeBob SquarePants. I would LOVE to see this as dark and gritty and I hope I'm proven wrong, but I don't think Nickelodeon is brave enough, smart enough, or even careful enough to go down that route.

These sentences mention the deaths of our tmnt characters: Raphael drowned in the docks while fighting karai after slaughtering all her foot soldiers. Leonardo and Casey Jones gets buried underneath burning rubble after fending off Baxter Stockman's Mousers and Footbots. Donatello and Master Splinter got shoot by a hailstorm of arrows after being ambushed by Hiroto and his foot ninjas. And that leaves Michaelangelo as the last surviving member of his family.

Raphael wasn’t “drowned”. He was stabbed in the neck (under his chin) when Karai swiped the big kunai off his leg under water. They stabbed each other simultaneously. He stabbed her in the back with his sai. Obviously, a turtle wouldn’t drown within seconds of falling into water (especially at the same time as a human). Go back and read those panels again, I think you missed key details. Just sayin’.

Raphael Consumed by rage from a suprise attack by the foot clan leaving splinter on the brink of death, left to seek out the foot clan army taking out every single foot clan ninja after soon lost to karai due to fatal blow through the skull not before he left her in a coma. Leonardo Along side casey jones held of hordes of robots until all of them self destructed leaving the both of them to firey rubble. Donatello Him and splinter went to sign a peace treaty with the foot clan only to be yet again ambushed by them again soon losing both their lives being struck down by a barrage of arrows. Michaelangelo Being the last brother alive tried to live a life of solitude but chaos followed so he took on the role of the last ronin and sought out to take out the leader of the foot clan but he got desperate and used a suicide attack to kill them both after taking his final breaths he joined his siblings, master splinter, and casey jones in the after life

I love the fact that this game is taking the comic canon. I hope that the game starts like this and there's two ways : 1) We play as all four turtles in thier last moments before we find out who's the last ronin is. 2) The game starts after that and we walk around the city until a cutscene happens with the last ronin taking off his hood and there, we get a title card.

My favorite episode of the 2003 series was the one where Donatello got sent into the future and everything was post apocalyptic and the turtles had lost. That one always sticks with me and The Last Ronin was very similar to that but it was Michaelangelos time to shine. I can't wait to see how this game plays and feels.

I didn't really grow up watching TMNT however im familiar with the last ronin comics because of YT Shorts. Seeing each individual candle blow out with a mild explanation without having said a single word, this is one of the best trailers i've seen in a long time. I might give this comic a full read now before i get this game
