If Nick had given the animators a larger budget for a longer movie, I would have loved to see all the deleted scenes animated in the official movie

Funny thing is, I doubt this was even a budget issue. Kevin Molina-Ortiz (one of the main storyboarders) has said that they worked unpaid overtime to animate all the flashy action scenes in the show, and they went balls to the wall with their fights solely to flex. I feel like if budget was the main issue, the crew would've still figured out something, even if it meant working without pay again. I feel like Nickelodeon just didn't want to approve a longer movie, since the movie was already taking longer than expected to come out, and they had long since stopped caring about the Rise brand
