The subtlety of the change in tone for this track was *everything* What was once a fast, exciting track reserved only for your greatest enemy has become a somber, yet still intense song. The final showdown is upon you, everything around you is burning, and it's in the flames that this long journey is going to come to an end. God these games were underrated.

You'd assume that this track would be guitars shredding like the others but it's just this extremely sombre starting but triumphant theme and it's so good it genuinely caught me off guard when i first got to this phase

For clarification, you hear this only when fighting Shredder's phase 2 in Episode 11-7. Phase 1 of 11-7, Episodes 6-6 and 6-8 use regular Shredder theme

That version of Mega Shredder was made years later. In this game it just means the new stronger body they made for Shredder after he Blew up at the TCRI

Quick Questions. Why was this rated T for Teen when the first and third game was pretty much intense like this one? Plus there was no profanity from the game.

​@@UltraUltimatium The E10+ rating did not exist when Battle Nexus was developed and released. Donkey Kong JungleBeat, Shadow the Hedgehog as well as TMNT III: Mutant Nightmare were among the first games to receive this rating as it wasn't implemented until March 2005.

You had Slashuur slicing the Federation Troops in half in his first cutscene, the cutscene where Shredder is murdering Slashuur's entire village and leaves a visible scar on his face, and Zog's death scene in the final cutscene along with Baxter Stockman's brain in a jar.
