21:00 It's strange but there's kind of an SEM ish feel to that wonderful tone, even though it's an 18dB ladder filter. Maybe it's the different starting waveforms.

Excellent video! Thanks for spotlighting the Modcan A. I still have mine and love it. One tiny correction: IIRC, the Zeroscillators were originally developed in Modcan A format and were later ported to other formats. Regardless, they’re brilliant. I bought three, knowing that the price was going to increase and figured I’d sell one, but I ended up loving them so much that I kept all three!

Aha! very good! - I didn't know the Zerosc was an original A-Series design. It's a superb and very unique VCO. One of the strengths of the A-Series is its interesting VCOs

@@memetunestudio funny enough I was just skimming through some Blakes 7 on KZbin the other day and I'd forgotten how good some of the writing was. I'm going to have to get a box set and binge it! Do you remember the episode of Rockschool where they used Depeche Modes "A Question Of Time" to demonstrate MIDI? I thought it was so cool at the time that this sort of stuff was finally getting on the telly. What you are doing now is exactly how I imagined at the time it ought to be done. Thanks for realizing what was in my own head for all those years!

Worth the wait. You have out performed even yourself. The effort to make this is evident in the richness of the content. Every segment is tantalizing. Your Monitor theme works perfect. Each segment is divided discretely. It is difficult to say which segment I liked the best. A nod to the detail you infused in each part. The sci-fi episode was truly a work of art. The attention to the foley sounds worked perfectly. The color choices supported the story line in a strong way. I was transported to a visceral place and time. The Modcan A is truly a one of a kind. Thank you for sharing the equipment and thought process. Cyndustries deserves respect as does Bruce Duncan. Thank you , thank you , thank you Ben!!

@@memetunestudio yap..... t's fascinating! Back in the 80s as a kid, we were always excited about the future, especially when it came to electronics, music, and gadgets.
