This is the Vintage bus collection of the Transit Museum Society, Vancouver B.C.
The Transit Museum Society of Vancouver, British Columbia was established in 1986
to document and preserve our province’s transit heritage. We restore and operate
vehicles significant to the history of public transit in British Columbia.

1959 General Motors Oldlook. Model TDH-4512 Non-running in need of restoration. Obtained December 2018 #678

1976 Flyer. Model E800. #2649 Converted from electric to diesel in the late 80's
1983 Flyer Trolleybus. Model E902A. #2805
This bus was vandalized while in storage offsite and may never run again. Now used as an office.

These clips were taken by me since 2008 and some are not as clear as others depending on the available video equipment. If anyone wishes to contribute to this video to improve the quality, I would greatly appreciate it.

It is hoped to have 2416 out next year for the 75th trolley anniversary.

@@simonmarshall19 Sadly 2805 will never run again. In 2010 it was vandalized and the speed controller and other major parts were damaged. 2416 will probably be the only bus to carry passengers.

I Miss the old busses and Drivers attitudes. "Nope your not getting on my bus with that!!" If you couldn't get up the steps too bad. No over glorified Mobile playpens fer the kids taking up three spots ..ON BOTH SIDES!!. (Heck I seen Four strollers one time) No bringing your shopping cart with overfilled trash bags of bottles and cans on.. and then claiming "No fare" to pay to for your ride!! when I was a teen it was 50 cents to get on and if I was short the Driver would say to me and announce to the other passengers "Would someone help this young man with his fare, he's short 20 cents." generally someone would help. I appreciate how things were then as to how thing's are now. what a mess.
