Well he's not a very bright guy and, places like TNA were more than willing to take advantage of that because the marks would love watching the guy kill himself in the ring. ANY promoter who claims to care about their talent and then books Foley is trash. Better to stop booking the guy while he's healthy enough instead of letting him continue. He's given enough for the marks and for the business.

The episode is already great, but I wanna give a special credit to OOC's new segment/the book reviews! I always love hearing you guys talk about wrestling books, it's super fascinating to hear you three share your opinions on that kinda stuff! I'd definitely be down for more OOCCVC action :) I can't imagine there are other notable wrestler-penned books that would be even tangentially related the way Mick's books are to the current arc, but even if it was a small thing where every now and then Steve and OOC sit for like 10-15 minutes and talk about it, I'd love to hear it :) After, what, almost a decade? You guys are at this point the only wrestling content I consume, and I have never been disappointed by an episode :) Thank you!

I think Sojo had a quick weave with the blonde crown being sew-in the top of her head. There are sew-in weave, quick weaves and combos. Sew-in weaves are sewn into scalp braids. Quick weaves are glued on top of scalp braids. Combos layer the tracks with glue and the top is sewn in. Nobody really does combos anymore but whoever did it effed her head up. Wigs are actually being worn more and can be better secured now.

My first thought to help regulate and take my mind off of things I couldn't control was to get home, load up the current story arc - I believe it was Lex Express - and eat a box of quality street with a few Malibu and cokes 😆😆 Thank you for some great, positive content, lads

I don't know much about Billy Corgan, but he's well into his 50s. So, considered his love for the NWA and territory wrestling, I'd bet a lot of money that he's been a fan of wrestling from well before the 90s.

13-year-old me at the time was dialed into TNA. I always loved Mankind so seeing Mick in TNA at this time and winning the world title fired me up. I looked forward to him putting on these crazy matches but I remember being extremely bummed not seeing him wrestle great matches on the weekly shows since I could never buy the ppvs

I don’t really think Rude’s theme doomed him. I think no matter the theme, they weren’t going to push him on the main roster was his problem.

It's a shame because he's 100% a Triple H sorta guy so if he wasn't so broken down he'd probably have a spot in the US or IC title picture right now.

It's a double edged sword, as the brand split makes revisiting that period for story purposes a misery I'd imagine. So much of each show dedicated to jobber tier guys in feuds to pad the PPVs to 3 hours. At least with TNA it's the whole card at once.

As late in life as the Sting/Foley match was, I always appreciate how it echoed how Foley's career began. His first main event program was with Sting in WCW, feels fitting his final one in wrestling was with Stinger as well. It was a fine bookend.

This arc has cemented in my brain that Sting is as much as a politic guy as Hogan. Always wins, never puts anyone over.

I assure you, this has more to do with TNA finding new methods to sit on their own balls and propping Sting up than it is him. He wasn’t physically capable of keeping up with the fresh young talent they kept cramming into the midcard despite their immense talent, and Dixie just couldn’t get over that fact. AEW Sting was actively trying to put people over, but Tony and the roster insisted on losing because they considered it an honor that he’s even there. The man has too much weight to his name to be used lightly.

I know they don't count the WCW tag titles for the Dudley Boyz but here's the thing: WWE owned the titles at the time along with everything WCW related. So it does count. Just like people count Edge as a former WCW US Champion despite it under the WWE banner.
