For anyone else trying to follow this tutorial in the future I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the following: - set your playback speed to less than normal. - add 2 feet of length to your cords. I did this as a recommendation from another comment, and am extremely thankful I did so.

I'm a fanatic when it comes to cutting my cords and making sure they are all the correct size. There has got to be something wrong with the measurements given here! As another person noted, you made a mistake on how many side cords to have. Six... Not five! Not only did I start running out of cord in the center part, I've also run out on the side part too! This is so frustrating! I've tried adding in new cords but there are so many I need it's starting to look like crap. So for anyone wanting to make this I would add AT LEAST an extra foot and a half to 2 ft of cord to all the cords! I would so rather have too much than too little. Oy! 🙄

Hello! Loved using your tutorial video today! However, I notice at 18min spot you say to Cut 10 ropes and place 5 on each side. However you have 12 cut and 6 on each side. For the longest time I was so confused and wasn't getting the correct strings on each side! Until I noticed that :)

I'm so bummed. I've almost completed the center section and I have quite a few cords that are too short! 😭 Luckily KZbin has tutorials on how to add more cord length but it's still a pain and I don't understand why they are short as I measured all the cords and they were all the same length.

Does anyone else come up with 693’ total counting fringe? Fringe is 21 pieces each side @ approximately 11’ ea X 2. So fringe is 462’ alone. In the beginning it says , “295’ overall. This total (693’) includes the 6 pcs each side @ 9.5’.

I'm pretty sure this tutorial is using 2mm cord not 3mm so that could be why the measurements are off
