First and foremost, we want to sincerely everyone who did purchase a PPV ticket for TNC 01 and further supporting our vision to elevate 1v1 basketball to new heights. Since day one, we’ve been dedicated to building something special-not just for us, but for the entire basketball community. What happened tonight just broke our hearts... please read below For over 550+ videos, we’ve provided free content, working tirelessly to create a space where players can earn life-changing money and fans can experience the highest level of competition. We’ve always been transparent about our journey, the challenges of monetization on KZbin, and the importance of pay-per-view in taking this movement to the next level. That’s why it was devastating when our streaming partner’s platform failed us-not once, but three separate times. Despite extensive testing, their entire infrastructure collapsed. When it became clear that their system couldn’t handle the event, we refused to let the night be ruined. Instead of making excuses, we pivoted-we made the decision to stream it live for free on KZbin because you, our community, deserved to see this moment in history. But what truly hurt the most were the thousands of comments calling us scammers and failures. That was heartbreaking. We’ve built TNC on honesty, transparency, and a genuine love for this game and community. When we faced this adversity, we didn’t hesitate-we said, “The show must go on.” Even though we were tracking nearly $500,000 in PPV buys-more revenue than several seasons combined-we chose to put it all on the line and go live on KZbin, ensuring that everyone got to witness history, regardless of the cost. We immediately promised that anyone who wanted a refund would receive one, because that’s the kind of platform TNC is. We take leaps of faith, we push the culture forward, and we always put our work and sacrifice on display. What happened was completely out of our control, and now we have to deal with the traumatic aftermath-but please understand, TNC will always ride for this community. From the camera work to the lighting, the players to the crowd, the energy was electric-everything we worked for was on full display. Once we went live on KZbin without a single issue, it became undeniable that this failure was not on TNC, but on our streaming partner. We are taking action against them for what happened, but in the meantime, we want to acknowledge the frustration many of you felt. Throughout the KZbin broadcast, we made it clear: anyone who wants a refund will get one. And we stand by that promise. But we also want to be honest-this moment was supposed to be a game-changer for TNC, our athletes, and the future of 1v1 basketball. The truth is, we needed this event to succeed, and every refund takes away from what we’re trying to build. If you purchased the PPV to support our vision, to help ensure players are paid what they deserve and that we can continue making history, we delivered on that promise. If you purchased it for exclusivity, then we completely understand your disappointment. We never take your support for granted, and we will always move ethically in this space. We’re hurt by the situation, but we’re fighters. TNC was built on resilience, and we will not stop pushing forward. This is just the beginning. If you would still like a refund, please standby as we work through things with our provider. But if you believe in what we’re building and want to see TNC continue to break barriers, we hope you’ll stick with us. We are sorry for how this played out, but we promise you-we will be back, stronger than ever. With gratitude, Scotty & The TNC Team

Admittedly, I was frustrated while the stream was crashing. Solely because I was really anticipating the event and felt as though promises weren’t being delivered. Also, I naturally assumed that the games were continuing as the fans were missing them. Never thought y’all were “scammers” or “failures” tho and I think anybody calling y’all that was being reactionary and childish. Unfortunately, the site that y’all used didn’t have the infrastructure to support that many people but what I can salute is the fact that y’all paused the games, pivoted to youtube, immediately promised refunds and ultimately did right by the fans. There’s no doubt about it besides the hiccup with the site this was a great event. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the games and I appreciate all the work that was put in by the entire crew & the players. Been rocking w y’all for a minute now, y’all can keep my $20 personally because it was definitely worth it and I understand that things don’t always go as planned, whether in your control or not. Especially considering this was y’all first time doing this. I’m sure lessons will be learned but keep doing what y’all doing!

Takeaways from each game: 1. Zae is who he is 2. When mike gets emotional, he plays his way out of the game. Game could have gone either way 3. Loved watched moon be moon. Mans finally stopped just doing hang dribble and then 3. He finally got back to being LaMoon with his all around game. Game could have went either way tho nesco still top 5 4. Uncle scoob is and always been a dog. One of the top 2 way players and once I saw that he was getting in robs space early, I knew rob was gonna struggle. He never let rob get into anything and forced tough contested 3s 5. Friga can’t guard nas. Simple. Once he let nas get 2 of those triple threat 3s, The game was over those are like layups for nas. Like I think b Ellis said the triple threat 3 for nas sets up his entire bag of counters. So once it’s hitting, good luck because now he’s hitting you with the step back, spin, pump fake, and step thru. Great event tho, congrats to the next chapter and you guys should keep the money for the stream. Been watching from the beginning and the growth and following is crazy. TNC has given us countless hours of FREE content. Sometimes 3 days out of the week meeting demands of tough schedules. Production and promotion leading to this event was amazing ! The platform given to these hoopers to expand their bag is honorable. ABC crew has to be studied a company within a company 🔥 Those guys won’t ever have to hoop again just from personality and knowledge of the game. More entertaining than Inside The NBA! It was their first PPV & the difficulties come with the game when you’re breaking new barriers! Netflix dealt with the same issues with the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight so put some respect on TNC! I don’t desire a refund i’ll consider it a donation .The players , referees, camera men, editors, personalities, etc earned it. Great event , keep em coming 🔥🔥🔥

What we've learned today: 1. Stamina matters. No conditioning = can't finish vs tough opponents 2. Nas/Skoob game-planned and executed perfectly. It may not have been pretty for viewers but with 5-10k on the line, you play to win, period 3. Rob/Friga were exposed. Only finesse, lack grit. Take away the 3, abuse the TNC rule system by fouling and/or forcing them to expend tons of energy just to get 1 point FTs all game. Every player gonna guard them like that from now on

Friga and robs bag are so limited, in my eyes. Even during the film of rob vs frig it was either a made 3 or a strong drive in the basket, no counters or pull ups. Both of their bases are really small so they can't get outside of a defenders frame. When you look at Nas he plays low and ball nearly touching the floor. Rob and frig are both playing up standing basically holding the ball at their sides. And it does not help when both of their game heavily relies on 25+ foot 3's. Major respect to them though. It was a great game in total.

The TNC 01 stream didn't disappoint (when I was able to view it). To sum up the match ups: - Tae vs Zae: Zae won as expected, he is just too good and should have been the headliner against Nas. Tae made a good effort though, so will have more opportunities going forward. - Kam vs Mike: I thought Mike would have won it, as his fundamentals are so good, but his shot was falling consistently for too long. Kam got comfortable and was hitting his shots, the most dangerous type of Kam to face. Kam was also a step faster, he had the right game plan. Great win by Kam, not sure where Mike goes after this as he seemed to have lost it mentally while out there. - Nesco vs Moon: Moon is a 1-v-1 legend and got me into this space of basketball. Having said that, I thought Nesco would take it as he is more active in this space verse Moon who has been overseas. Man was I wrong, Nesco started strong and had a big lead but Moon's game is the longer the game goes on the more chance he has of winning it. Moon chipped away points and made big shots, his game is not for everyone but gets results. Great win by Moon. - Rob vs Skoob: I am a long time Skoob fan but thought Rob would win. Rob is bigger, faster and has great fundamentals. This was different to Frigmas, as Skoob came prepared defensively and offensively - he made Rob uncomfortable from start to finish. Rob's game plan was a bit weird, I thought he would go down hill on most of his possessions, but he seemed to fall in love with 3s, which fell at times but it's not what he his known for. There was a bit of fouling from Skoob but we have to put that on the refs to make the calls consistently, so I wouldn't use that as an excuse for Rob. Rob should have matched the energy, he was clear in his interview the game will get physical and he is fine making fragrant fouls. This is not the trenches, all refs are TNC selected - great win by Skoob, he showed he is not to be messed with. - Nas vs Friga: Nas won as expected but Friga had no business being out there against him. This was a complete mismatch, Nas excelled against Friga in everything. Friga talked a good talk but his game play was very predictable and he looked like he didn't belong. Nas has the #1 spot for a reason. I would love to see a Zae vs Nas headliner for the next PPV event, great rematch as Zae is 1-0 against Nas.

Breaking it down from a pro's eye: Rob's shoots from the parking lot or drives to the basket, he lacks a lefty therefore his left lane is the weakest, always finishing left lane with a right hand is rough. Rob also lacks mid range. Skoob forced rob left whole game and conuted on Rob's struggle to finish on left and the struggle showed. Defensively Rob is not much of a dawg compared to the others like zae & Nas, he seemingly plays politely and never jams someone up. Imo some good players like to trade buckets instead of playing heart out defense, Rob probably thinks he can go on a tear and he pretty much does to all the youtube hoopers. It looks better that way and forms a habit. But overall Rob is still super dangerous just with the ability to shoot from the parking lot. Nas is a noticeabily the top player in the space right now with the ability to shoot 3 / 2s and with the patience in the footwork to throw fakes. Defensively he shows that he's a dawg and gets into people's face. 1v1 game, top players are complete, both offensively and defensively, heart matters in basketball. A lot of people are only good at a few things that's why if a player have a play for each section of game like midrange, lefty, 3s, parking lot 3s, defense, IQ, the more dangerous the player gets. Just my 2 cents, great games by TNC.

7 seconds makes the entire thing too rushed though. Yeah Rob definitely underestimated Skoob. He was not prepared at all. Niggas kept saying Skoob was ducking games. Lol I see why. That man was resting up to be ready for this shit. He came prepared like a MFer.

Lmao right he wasn't even on the next chapter. He probably wanted Skoob to lose cause Skoob threw his fat ass to the ground when they played and Chris cried about it lmao. And Dzo was probably so mad Skoob won to.

I love how Nas and Kam has this thing where they walk up and talk shit to each other, when one is watching the other play LOL
@YunginKirb7 күн бұрын
Friga gotta go on every platform now and play other comp and win a lot honestly to even redeem himself just for his own mindset. Bad showing but because he let Nas dictate the game and letting him shoot open threes with no checking. Friga you my guy you can get back here
