I love hearing about the story of my family. I am a descendent of Will Washington. My great-great uncle was named after him. John, cuz I commend you for your efforts to bring to life our family's history.

A man whom knows his soul, could never seek to own another human being. There is a foul result when humans nurture ego and ignore the soul, organized religions rarely teach or offer an attendance to or understanding of - the soul through spirituality. It is at best a passing mention. This can only be for the control through ego of those whom seek to separate by a class system. I simply cannot fathom one truly having a mature, balanced self concept and healthy self love - when any idea of separating one'ls worth as more valuable than that of another - The very idea of this existence, when you gaze upon a child and see the naive, fragility, of their needs, it should be the gatekeeper of one's attitude and ego. The continued teaching of, or not yet learning from, prejudice - are the greatest chains that keeps man/woman from the purpose of this life journey, and egos routinely promote this plague of prejudice throughout time, even in this 21st century. The evil that displays from the energies of this attitude can be experienced by every human sense, and it is so this day, and observable, under the direction of the most prevalent source of the Overt Narcissist Personality Disorder. One that is stadistically molesting this nation's integrity through it's highest office. One must accept personal responsibility, to apply self-discipline, over their own ego and attitude, in an effort to overcome this point which prevents the true maturing of their person, nation, and world. Peace is realistic if it is a goal and the education necessary, plus discipline is applied, towards achieving this goal. ☮
