Is it possible that that particular student would have opted for this college but wouldn’t have joined the college as he would have some other option earlier.. for him the loss is the counselling fees of Rs.5000 only..that seat will fall vacant for that college and the college will fill it with some other student..I am sure that many can understand the reason behind it.. This year, due to the new counselling procedure, this will be avoided I think.. Let us analyse the data next year to confirm it..
