Yes, a brand requires investment, which is why companies spend thousands of crores building products or company brands. Furthermore, it requires labor, planning, human resources, and, most importantly, years to establish and sustain, implying a time commitment. Furthermore, even after these efforts, there is no guarantee that it will be widely recognized. Why not give away India? because it is a well-established and popular brand in India and around the world. So, instead of going through this useless, pointless, expensive, and wasteful exercise of picking between the two, it is better to continue with both based on compatibility and personal preference, rather than imposing someone else's whims.
