Free windows make a HUGE difference in the overall cost. Good looking project.

I'm sure hoping so... gave my dad an estimate of what I was going to spend before I started.... those free windows will somehow have to provide a credit at this point for me to hit that :)

Looks awesome Chris. Thank you very much, you've given me an idea. Rocks are very numerous here in north central West Virginia. After seeing your handy, attractive walkway, I'm going to give it a try. Thank you sir.

If I had to do it again (and I probably will since I have a pile 25' long, 8' wide and 5' tall) I would definitely use sand as a leveling layer vs gravel. It would have be sooooo much easier. My wife has bounced the idea of 'paving' the floor of the greenhouse with them...

I can't wait to see a drone shot of the farm when you're done. I think you're making great use of all your space. Looking great.

@@TryNewThings great structure on your build too. In case you haven't noticed, I always comment before watching the whole video. This Green House will stand the test of time. I prefer using deck screws over nails. 👍

That is the plan (for it to last), I have seen a lot of the kits, that end up costing almost as much, ending up coming up short for longevity. If it only lasts 10 years (and I would be disappointed in that) on a per year basis this will still end up being a fairly affordable (per year). Thanks as always on the feedback Dean.

Looks great. What direction does the door opening face (south)? I guess it does not matter as long as you have light coming into the greenhouse. Putting the greenhouse in-ground should retain some of the heat during the day. Will be waiting to see how it performs during the planting/growing season (assume it will be used for starting vegetables in the spring).

The door faces roughly south. East or morning sun blocked by trees once the leaves come out. I’ll get direct sun noon on. Our original plan was jump start for spring planting. But I’m hoping to do some fall planting and growing as well as try some dwarf citrus trees. Be nice if we can find a way to use it year round.
