Hi Todd 😊Anthony and family from Ireland hoping you're not serious about retiring. . I wanted to tell you I found an Atari badlands yesterday and I only paid 100 euros for it 😊 The guy's are delivering it tomorrow. Anyway this machine hasn't been plugged in for 15 years. Keep those videos coming 😊

I can't believe you have astro fighter in the small cabinet. I had the exact same thing. It was my very first piece of coin operated equipment I got when I was 12 or so. Maybe you have my old one? I was disappointed because it didn't have a coin mech in it and there was no internet.

Todd Im just loving the Cabarets here. Though the Hard Drivin hit me hard. Quick story, I had a friend of mine who's parents were in charge of a Bowling alley. Her Mother worked upstairs in the bar, which up there they had a Galaga and a Race Drivin for play. Sadly only people over 21 could only go up there, but at 17 I got my first car which had a 5 speed. I walked up one day while she was working and saw the Race Drivin. I explained I needed to learn how to drive a 5 speed, which in conclusion she set the game to free play and brought sodas over to practice! I remember being there for a week straight practicing. Oh man, I wish that Hard Drivin didnt sell. I would've loved that Cabaret version. Hope it went to a great home!

Yes...a great way to learn to drive stick! Yes...the man was very excited about it!

How do you deal with pinball machines that have mold
@tntamusements8 жыл бұрын
You first wash them out with clorox and hot water...and leave them outside in sun to dry. Then a second bath. That should take care of the mold...use gloves of course!

I was in 4 Operetta's between 1987-1990. never can spell it but 14 yrs old playing injin Joe yikes) yes I managed to stick it on dvd long ago. Some I had lines but the one for Tom Sawyer was the one with the most. and yes I missed the first nights Makeup oops. :P so nervous I missed that part

I have this on youtube somewhere but it's a private link and only has the BTS section. I'd only send that to Todd if needed. early or late April 1990. Bit foggy on dates ;) I was hardly an actor :P

I converted an almost completely destroyed Route 16 into a custom game for my senior project. I felt bad converting it, but it was going to hit a landfill if we didn't grab it and use it, plus it was the only cabinet available for purchase in our price range and in our area at the time. None of the electronics worked and nearly everything was destroyed in it. It took me three months to restore it before I could actually worry about converting it to our senior game. The bottom was literally falling off and I had to replace about a foot of wood before I got to solid MDF again. Every metal part was completely rusted and needed to be refinished. None of the electronics worked and there was even mold that had to be cleaned up. Most of the screws were rusted in place and if they came out, they took chunks of wood with them. How is the game anyway? Why have you decided to keep yours? Rarity? Sentimental value? Great gameplay? I'd love to know! P.S. Love the videos and I've spent way too much time watching them and going back into the archives to watch them as well. And if anyone is interested in the process or the finished product: Images of the restoration/conversion imgur.com/a/6EsLv Trailer for the game kzbin.info/www/bejne/hoO2d6Gfm711sJI

Correct me if I'm wrong but that Hard Drivin compact is not rare. I have owned 3 in the last 2 years. It took two to make one. I have since sold them and there is another for sale on the CL in my area, Portland Or. Also the compact had a standard res monitor. What is rare is the HD side art of the compact. No one makes it, at least that I could find.
@mrblond7508 жыл бұрын
And great video! Sorry to see your collection go.
@tntamusements8 жыл бұрын
Yes...Mike misheard me...I said this was super rare as it had never seen any kind of commercial use...the paperwork is still stapled inside the like new machine that was kept covered in a garage since it was donated to this family and only used for three months. Pretty much every one you find will be pretty well worn out!
