@@emiax6689 I read the books, too. They changed that part because they didn't know if they were making a second movie or not so didn't want to end it on a cliffhanger like the book. They get back together in Chapter 2 of the second novel. So, no, that's really not a major change. All they did was speed up and cut out some of the drama so that they ended up together at the end of the first movie instead of having the exact same thing happen within the first 10 minutes or so of the second movie (which, again, they had no idea if there even would be a second movie). Hardly a major deviation.

Okay 2 things wrong about the movie. 1: I wish we could’ve seen Peter’s perspective after the breakup. 2: I wish they didn’t leave John hanging at the end. Im sure there’s more things wrong but otherwise... This movie was a masterpiece. I noticed how they put a lot of thought into the camera angles, script and directing. Peter and LJ’s relationship felt so realistic and sweet and it gradually came down hill. It didn’t just happen in a flash like some movies.

kyra’s world agreed about her hair being puffier. In the first movie it was her real hair but then she chopped it off after filming for her character on a tv show. So they had to put extensions when they started filming the sequel. Her real hair was still in a bob during this production.
