I loved seeing your journey into your journal life! I also like seeing the different ink colors you've used. This year I got fineliners to match hobonichi color tabs. Each month I used the matching fineliner to title my paragraphs then write in blue ink for everything else. So OCD. I thought about getting matching fountain pen inks for 2025, but I woke up and realized I was losing my mind 😅 I have so many fountain pen inks, I can find something "close enough" in my collection without buying any new ink. I record what I eat everyday because I'm battling cancer and I lost 69 pounds in the process. I kept a hobonichi weeks for work and an A6 for home/personal stuff. For 2024 I just used an A6 hon (since I couldn't work). For 2025 I ordered the spy family weeks (I will be returning to work), an A6 hon for commonplace journaling (Crescent Moon Delivery), and spy family A5 hon for planning and medical/health care stuff. I love ordering directly from hobonichi!

I’m new to your channel, and really enjoyed this video! And, the Jetstream refills are 0.5. They seem smaller because they’re ballpoint ink - ballpoints tend to write narrower lines than gel pens! And yes - the HON pencil board pen loop is meant for only the clip to fit through. Kind of an odd choice, in my opinion, but I guess it accommodates a wider range of pens.

Thank you and to be honest, I really am not sure. I bought that almost 5 + years ago on a whim without knowing too much about Hobonichi but your best bet is probably to look at the archives from 2019 or 2018 :p
