Jinhao is the parent company of Baoer, and the feed and converter are typical Jinhao. The nib is likely made in the same factory but with different engraving.

As a MB Starwalker owner, the cap does not stand - seemingly just like this Baoer. Also the threads that are on the end are a "replica" of the Starwalker pens. This is a startling "replica" of the Starwalker on several fronts. But, Baoer does produce decent pens at the price point. I appreciate that they do put their logo on the nib so there is no confusion! Thank you for the review!

It is a nerdy space design. I also own this pen. I am an eclectic type person, so I find it interesting. Now I did not go 'wow', but it did the job.

3 weeks back i also bought 2 of this baoer pens, one with this same square design and another with solid black. Fir me it work very very smooth. Although i tried only one and thar doesn't get dry. However my hands small. So with posting the cap, it feels very heavy. So I have to use un-posted. But I still like this pen.

It's a pen for gadget lovers, not Bauhaus at all. I am not sure the plaid goes with the theme. What might be interesting would be to make that acrylic abdab functional-as a light focus (with variable beam width) and insertable plates (like a My Pen) so a shaped light with silhouette could be projected (like the Batman beam).

It is from Birmingham Pens, but it certainly does look just like the Nemosine.

No problem, just did a little digging, and they are identical because Nemosine was run by the Birmingham Pen owner's brother. They've combined efforts now.

I have a few of these. The section is too short for me and it feels ... fiddly. However the screw-to-post cap design makes up for it. Unposted the pen feels weird and imbalanced in my hand. Posted though, the balance completely changed and makes the pen usable for me. The nib doesn't excite me so I rarely ink these up. I have to be in the mood.

Yes, and you can use 2.6mm bore cartridges or International Standard cartridges (2.4mm bore) will usually fit ok.
