Ric was around town the other day, and I'll tell ya, seemed like the nicest guy. I didn't go up to him, was with a group of people, who admire his career and talent as well, but anyone who went up to Ric, he obliged and allowed them to take a pic or fist-bumped them or whatever they wanted when greeting him! He was kind to everyone who went up to him, much respect Ric!!

Seems like people are tough on Ric for various reasons, but nobody can doubt his place in history. He was my childhood hero growing up, that has changed now knowing what we know today. Hes still the MAN though.
@jonpalmer4502 жыл бұрын
Changed WHY? So, what if he liked to party and wasn't great at the whole monogamy thing. Or that he could be "inappropriate" by today's standards. There are so many people these days who have done so much worse--even the 45th president. I guess it depends on if he was just your SPORTS hero, or if he was your HERO as in the greatest person on the planet. If you mean the 2nd option, then I completely understand what you are saying. Obviously, as far as great people in history there are better choices, like Jimmy Carter (also an NWA fan) off the top of my head.

Hey mr.flair, I've got a question. Do you remember a female wrestler named madusa?
@jonpalmer4502 жыл бұрын
Of course he does. She was the NWA Women's champion and they spent time working in the same promotion-probably more than once. I have no idea if they were friends or if they didn't like each other. But he DEFINITELY remembers. I think she is part of the current NWA in some kind of on screen role.. So they might have even crossed paths when he was at their St Louis shows. I don't pay enough attention to know when she started working there.
