Mam.to determine the acidity of water both indicator are using.those which have low pH methyl orange has high pH it is a used phenalphtelien indicator formula is here v1*n*50*1000/sample of water.when organic acid is present in the water the methyl orange indicator is used in sample

If tap water/Borewell water is hard, you can directly use as hard water. Or you can prepare by adding calcium and mangnesium salt in water.

If you want to prepare water sample, then no need to prepare a sample of perticular normality. It is necessary that NaOH should have perticular normality. Here NaOH is 0.01 N.
