@singsingtome the voice is a contest where the 4 judges (cee lo [juliet's mentor], adam levine, christina aguilera, and blake shelton) sit in chairs with their backs facing whoever is performing. if they like the performers voice, they press a button, and if >1 coach presses a button, the singer decides who they want as a mentor. those are the blind auditions, and coaches have to form teams of 12 artists, and then the battle rounds, and then idk bc im only watching cuz of juliet, soo...

@singsingtome a number of people audition in front of judges and the judges dont see what the person looks like until they choose them because they are facing the audience and not the person so i think it makes it better for the person and if 2 or more judges out of the 4 choose the person then the person gets to choose a judge that chose them to be their coach and then they battle against their team members and whoever looses has to go home

There are four teams. Each team is led by a famous musical artist, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine. In the beginning the teams are filled by blind auditions. The judges backs are turned when the contestants perform, this way contestants are chosen solely on their voice; it doesn't matter if you're old, young, beautiful, or odd. When the teams are full they all compete to win. Juliet Simms made it to the final four last week. She sang her heart out last night.
