Tedy. I don’t want to label you as Abiy paid. I rather say you lacked the basic knowledge of politics, struggle, alliances and strategy. You may think you know what you’re talking about but you’re really ignorant of the ABC of politics. Encouraging defectors from the ruling party is the best strategy for the success of the struggle, not other wise. Why do you think Fano is accepting the defectors? If Daniel Kibret, and others defect, we would accept them with open hands to join the struggle. No let comers, 11th hours, is denied to join Fano. Unless you have a personal vendetta to settle with Ato Gedelu taking this opportunity, your comment is hurting the struggle, dividing the fighters by calling late joiners, early joiners. I heard some activists saying the same thing with others who left Abiy and joined Fano. Please read history and educate yourself first before you commenting about such important issues. You said Gede joining the struggle will hurt the struggle. How??? And your splitting comment would benefit the Fano struggle? How?

I personally subscribe to Tedy’s analysis of Gedu. Tedy is a brilliant journalist who expresses his objective views and opinions without fear. Gedu is not a defector as you describe him. He is a hypocrite, a desperate and despondent man who has outlived his usefulness to Abiye Ahmed. Gedu turned against Abiye only because he realised Abiye was going to ditch him. I don’t think Gedu managed to impress Abiye with his mediocre performance no matter how hard he tried. He did everything he could to ensure that Abiye Ahmed had the reins of power firmly in his hands. He has done enough damage to Fano and other anti-Abiye movements. Gedu is a man who has no principles of his own. His only motivation was and still is self-interest.

Well said and Well explained, gedu changes his colors like chameleon all time,he lives for his advantage at the expense of amhara.
I agree with you. Teddy is not only inexperienced but also uninformed. He has twice mentioned one of the most treacherous Fano leaders who goes by the name Zemene Kassie. He even mentioned the empty slogan አዲስ ትውልድ . . . He add, " ከእርሶ የሚጠበቀው ለሰላም መሥራት ነው" Here is the main evangelist poison concealled with words of high concept. I assume Gedu can play a certain role as a supporter to fano movement.
Again I repeat what always said you are great and fact based analysts. Please do not miss this quality forever Thanks

Tedy is one of very few young visionary professional journalist with some inconsistency. He come to the media with clear idea & well prepared concepts thats why he won the interest of his audience. Im following him for long since i observed some good qualities. I wish he will really where i wish to him . Regarding Ato Gedu to be frank he looks un capable person that's why the PM push him aside . It is common in Ethiopian politics after they forced to leave position to cry nothing new he will tell us , as Tedy said.
