There's not much waste with the uncapping knife, on another subject. Meade is pretty popular over here in Europe, you've got to watch it. the hangover after is pretty nasty 🤣

Try bottling in 1.25 litre soda water bottles and you get 3× 375ml drinks. The soda water goes well with rum or scotch

The honey gate design drives me nuts. I think all buckets/drums/spinners should be sold with ball valves. My brother made a traditional, passion fruit and mango mead. Very tasty🍺🍺

If you brew beer from honey and malt together, that's called Braggot.

Whatever happened to your old extraction facility? The one you had in the storage container?

Got-damn I'm not a Tea Totaller but I would love to taste that sink water you made looks like some of that dirty water I drank in Germany back in the early 80's when I was stationed there. In just about every district there was at least 2 to 3 beer distilleries and one that was made from bee honey now don't quite me don't know if the place is still open and producing but i think it was called Gotleib or something like that the bottles had porcelain hinged caps with a rubber seal on the cap and i think it was a Meade ale first couple bottles i thought was pretty weak but boy howdy they snuck up on me likkidy split and my head felt like a hippo was sitting on it when I woke up the next morning, It was an acquired taste at first but I got to liking it so much I didn't drink any other one for the next 6 years I was there
