The only novel I really and truly enjoyed reading during my secondary school education. Was always stuck in the classes with the ones who didn't want to learn. Add on top of that the worst teachers who should have been sacked. All because I was dyslexic, makes me really appreciate the film.

Kind of crazy that ROBERT DUVALL - arguably one of the most prolific and well-known actors of all time- plays the enigmatic Boo Radley in this and I only learned about this like yesterday.

Harper Lee only wrote two books. To Kill a Mockingbird and Go Set a Watchmen. The former was a publishers request of a rewrite of the latter. In the book Go Set a Watchmen, Lee Set the story with Finch as an adult and the story was about Atticus successfully defending Tom Robinson. The publisher wanted the story to reflect Southern Bigotry, so they wanted Tom found guilty. GO Set a Watchmen is a mediocre novel and never would have become a piece of American literature like its successor. Dill, in real life, was Harper's childhood friend Truman Capote. Another writer who ad but one successful novel, In Cold Blood. Harper Lee helped him write and edit this gem of American writing.
