Great video man!!! My brother got me into this song when I was 5 yrs old. i guess it was brand new at the time. It always stuck with me. Such a great song. I enjoyed your take, breakdown and historical input on this. RIP Cliff

I believe the acoustic and rather slow intro is supposed to represent the beauty of life itself. Therefore, I find the abrubt ending of the outro, which mirrors the opening to be very fitting. The pretty harsh intro to Dyers Eve could represent death itself and how an individual can be taken from us in a second. Like like we saw with Cliff Burton himself

I can't pick a favorite Metallica instrumental. But, the sad, melancholy part in To Live Is To Die is the best part of any of their instrumentals in my opinion.
