We used to listen to this song together but 4 months ago we broke up. Hindi ko agad natanggap yung break-up na 'yon. Dalawang linggo wala akong buhay, wala akong gustong gawin maliban sa paghahabol sa kanya para bumalik sa akin kaya nasira ang buhay ko literal. Pagkatapos ng dalawang linggo na 'yon, sinubukan kong ayusin ang buhay ko. Pumasok ulit ako sa school, nagsorry ako sa family ko dahil hinayaan ko ang sarili kong masira. Nasaksihan nila kung paano ako lumuhod noon sa harap niya. Nakita nila kung paano ko hinayaan na maging ganoon kababa para lang sa lalaki. Nakabalik ako sa pag-aaral luckily kahit 2 weeks akong AWOL. Iyong chance na magkita kami inside the college, inasahan ko iyon. Hinahanda ko sarili ko para doon dahil akala ko kaya ko na. Mali ako. Inside the campus nagb-breakdown ako, hindi maka-focus sa discussion tapos may upcoming midterms pa. Natapos ko iyong midterm exams pero after that, totally AWOL na ako. Hindi pa aware 'yong parents ko tungkol doon kasi hindi ko alam paano sasabihin sa kanila. For a week, akala nila pumapasok pa rin ako. Nakakahiyang aminin pero inom 'yong inatupag ko sa isang linggo na 'yon. The next week naman nagkaroon na ako ng lakas ng loob para sabihin sa kanila na ayoko na mag-aral at maghahanap na ako ng trabaho. Right now, may probable job ako and still adjusting sa path na pinili kong tahakin. May relapse pa rin akong nararanasan lalo noong nagparamdam ulit siya because he wanted something, buti I had the courage to turn him down. Kasi vulnerable pa rin ako eh. Gustong-gusto ko pa rin siya. It's just that, this time, gusto kong piliin ang sarili ko naman. Kahit kaunti naka-usad na ako eh so bakit ko hahayaan yung sarili ko na bumalik ulit sa sakit na nalagpasan ko na. I can bravely say na masaya ako at hindi ako naghahanap ng kahit anong klase ng relationship--not even friendship. Kung sakaling mabasa niya ito ayokong magpaalam. Instead, I want to say, "Until we become the better versions of ourselves, let time heal our souls.". Because to love again, means to live again. Kung may karapat-dapat man akong mahalin ulit, 'yon ay ang sarili ko.
