sir do we always rotate it clockwise or can we rotate it anticlockwise too? Also is it necessary that we always start rotating from 0 at main scale or can we start from anywhere? wherever the circular scale coincides do we just take it as the main scale reading? do we also have to calculate R from h three different times and then calculate the mean or just find R using the final mean value of h?

Can rotate anticlockwise also depends on the curvature whether it is concave or convex.....it is not necessary to start from zero but many students having diffculties in noting reading thats why I always suggest to start from zero
