i had my cuppa tea whilst watching this on full screen, made me feel like i was just there with you guys - sounds weird. but i said it now ;) a very interesting podcast. on all levels. i am so self critical, it does stop me in my tracks, but i am just getting on and making stuff within my current skillset - or lack of! another awesome episode. have a great weekend both :D

The niche could be huge, it doesn't have to be narrowed to just one brand or one product. Your niche is high end film making and photography. Even though your channel is relatively small your niche is "expert advice" in a field. Your niche is "Inspiration". That's why I watch your channel. Josh forgot about some detailed S5 reviews out there before he bought one 😉

Thank you so much Pav, we really do appreciate you supporting us. We honestly go back and forth a LOT about whether we need to niche down significantly or whether we need to just keep creating what feels right to us which is that much broader. A few months ago we decided to narrow down the channel to filmmaking only and ditch the photography. We're already having second thoughts as to whether this is the right decision. 😖

@@TRIOStories I think it takes longer to get traction but you should always do what makes you happy. Narrowing the niche down might seem like a good option now but how will you feel about being tied down and be known for being one trick pony 4-5 years down the line. Do what feels right and keep going. I love your content
