Couldnt agree more about spoilery blurbs and covers, Matt. I have stopped reading blurbs almost completely. Some publishers go overboard and it lessens some of the punch that would have been there while reading.

Yeah I do the same thing for movies. If I want to watch a movie, I just avoid all trailers like the plague.

I think everyone is waay too sensitive about spoilers. The cover and blurb is fine. It made me want to read it, which is the point

That cover is really cool. Haven't read the book. Personally, I am one of those people who hate when book blurbs and covers give too much away. I think if it is book 1, though, then you need to offer a bit more to get people interested. I get so annoyed when sequels needlessly give things away. I personally really dislike when a cover shows something that is a part of the Climax or major moments. It does ruin things a fair bit for me. And blurbs can go way overboard.

Hey man. Love your vids. May I recommend the military fantasy series "Forgotten Ruin". A nano virus is destroying all tech. The US gov sends rangerss and scientists 4 years into to the future to fix shit. Turns out they're sent 10k years into the future and the world is now a tolkien esque fantasy world. Orcs, elves, the whole shebang. It's really really good.
