The one thing I find irritating and it may be a cultural difference or part of a general plot theme. Saying the woman seduced the man. It implies men are too weak to control themselves in regards to women. There are of course other cultures that always blame or punish woman for a man's thoughts or actions. I guess I was lucky to be raised by a dad who even in the early 60s when out to dinner with his brother and his wife. Punched his brother when he said "it is a woman's fault for getting pregnant." My Dad even then comprehended joint responsibility in a marriage/couple. That and raising us that we can become whatever we want and to prove ourselves through actions. However, I do comprehend the complications of being a good person that is bullied. The less support around you the harder it is to handle the situation while protecting yourself. (Parents moving to another town or state was the easiest and showed how 1 person can result in an entire community including siblings to turn against you. Military life you couldn't always rely on a move by either party and had to figure out a way to overcome the bullying and being the 1 on top without any viciousness. Thank goodness for military regulations applying to all and an ability to use them against the bully.
