Some MC's ALWAYS thanked the announcer at the open of the show. Some never did. I don't think I ever heard Bud ever say, thanks, Johnny!

The song performed by Lambert, Hendicks and Pavan was of course "This Could Be The Start Of Something", written by What's My Line panelist Steve Allen. Not Louis Nye, who was part of the cast of Steve Allen's prime time series from 1956-60 with Tom Poston and Don Knotts.

Steve Allen is much under-appreciated as a songwriter, perhaps because he did so much more.

Really great to see and hear Lambert, Hendricks and Pavan. Was not aware of Ms. Pavan until now. Amazing what I learn from TTTT.

The woman's name is "Bavan" not Pavan. She's still alive today.

@@alanfollett6242 - Steve wrote hundreds of songs...I believe the number may actually be over 1000, but most of them were mediocre, so his appreciation level in that area is probably accurate. Maybe 25 of the 1000 or so are good to excellent with his signature tune and "Springtime in Maine" at the top of the list...the latter thanks to the contributions of master lyricist Carolyn Leigh

I love this show, and grew up watching it. I accept that change is a part of life, and yet... I watched the new version of To Tell The Truth on ABC the other night and thought it was God Awful! The new host and his mother should create their own game show and leave this classic alone! Not all change is good. Frankly, some things are better left undone. I can't help but think the original creators of To Tell The Truth would be horrified by what's become of their show. I know I certainly am!

Spelling for contestant 2 is Yolande Bavan. I looked her up, as they sounded great.

In game 1#, contestant #3 is Pete Martin (1901-1980). Correct name is Yolande Bavan (b. 1942).

Good to see Kitty dressed ‘normally’! Round 2 - guessed straightaway No.3 was a model. Pause at 10:34. She is stunning.

How did three of the panel vote for Charles Dempsey #3 when he clearly got the Sazerac cocktail wrong? The Sazerac is a cognac or whiskey based cocktail so it would NEVER have rum in it!

Maybe they didn't know that. I certainly didn't until I read your comment.

Tom Poston must have gotten around and knew a lot of people. It seems like he has to disqualify himself a lot. Contestant #3 in game 2 was a babe. Thanks for the video.
