0:32: Announcer Bern Bennett: "And here, beginning our second year on the air..." It's those little things that make me smile, when a show acknowledges how long it has existed. Also, the show before this one (12/10/1957) was the first for program staffer Geraldine Toohey. I think she would stay in that position throughout the original run of _TTTT_ .

The panel did not have the best of nights. Kitty Carlisle has a great laugh. You can hear her a lot in the background. Polly is gorgeous and so is Betsy Palmer in the next show. Little did the panelists know how long this show would run when it was celebrating its 2nd year. Thanks for the video.

I thought Al Harrington looked familiar so I googled him and found out he was on on of my favorite tv shows, Hawaii Five-O. He played Detective Ben Kokua. Sad to see that he died back in September of this year.

I totally understand why John Daly never wanted to include performances/demonstrations by contestants on the CBS WML after seeing what a "3-ring circus" the syndicated WML became when it included such things. Somehow TTTT was able to pull it off in a classy way, though. I always love it when they have a special way of showing who the "real" contestant is! (14:57)

I agree with you on all counts though there was at least one time that a female gymnast was somehow situated with all the panel members' faces right at crotch level! LOL "Awkward!"

One has to admire the self-confidence of contestants willing to appear shirtless on a program like that.

Game 1 - Unauthorized mustache on #2 ruled him out. (Leave it to Kitty to vote for him because of his mustache). Game 2 - Loved the sword dance!

I love this game. I got the first two, and I am shocked number 2 did not know the Supreme Court justices. I voted for number 3 on the third game. I practiced law for 25 years and always knew the makeup of the Supreme Court. I still do.

john galt And I thought I remembered seeing a very young, female justice-of-the-peace on WML too -- not sure if she was the same one, though. Time do some research! :)

*Update:* I couldn't find any evidence on IMDb or TV.com that either Al Harrington or Pat Dwyer ever appeared on WML. Both their names popped up in a TV.com post related to the Oct. 12, 1958 episode of WML, but that was only because GSN once aired this episode of TTTT immediately after _that_ episode of WML, and therefore a synopsis of this TTTT episode was included in the program notes. www.tv.com/shows/whats-my-line/episode-436-96029/

I believe in later episodes of TTTT, they stopped allowing the contestants to answer questions in any language other than english.

It's pretty offensive when they have the Native Americans on as well. The question about who discovered Samoa.... I guess they were waiting on an answer that was the name of a European explorer. SMDH
