Very good panel with the regulars making West Coast Jackie feel at home.

Just a couple more episodes to go after this for 1958, and then I'll need to take another break from posting more episodes-- I do have the first few months of 1959 (though not edited yet), but then a long gap of missing shows till 1961. It may be quite a while before I find copies of the shows I'm missing, and I'd really prefer to post the episodes in order (not to mention being pretty busy with important real life stuff), so I hope you'll understand the need for a possibly extended break. I think most of us-- myself very much included-- are WAY behind on actually watching the episodes posted anyhow. Thanks for your patience and support of the channel!

Very tricky 3rd game. Anything to do with athletics and the panel has no clue about anything. Thanks for the posting of all these shows. Great fun to play along with the panel. Bud and the studio audience.

I'm surprised that nobody asked "How in the heck could you have possibly visited 33 places in 8 hours?" No one asked this very obvious question!

+retrorex It'd be interesting to see how many of those places you could visit in eight hours if all you did was take a selfie outside and move to the next location (then go inside later).

+retrorex Until I read your comment, I didn't realize that the visits were split up. Thanks for highlighting this. It reminds me of a cartoon I once saw, with Bugs Bunny racing a tortoise(s).

@@redwatch. I wonder if each of them visited 11 places: one of them downtown Manhattan, one of them midtown Manhattan, one of them uptown Manhattan and The Bronx. This way, they weren't lying that someone named Ray Wetzel visited every one of those places. Since they swear to tell the truth in the affidavit, perhaps that is why no one questioned how (and they did ask by what convenience and the answer was "a rented car").

Hire a tour guide to drive you to these sites most concentrated in the tourist district if quantity is your goal over quality.

The money awarded to the men in Game 3 was an entire months salary for them. The one man said he made $2.16 an hour.

1. A gift package of cigarettes? O_O Words fail me. Yes, Marlboro was the sponsor, but still... 2. Best ending ever! 3. Interesting to hear that Betty White would be a fill-in the next couple of weeks, considering that she would later be a semi-regular panelist.

+Beth Di Bartolomeo I find it odd that in some episodes Bud describes the gift as a carton of Marlboros, and in others as a pack. I wonder if there really was a variation.
