@@jaymea8907 thanks so much Artwork is AI generated, cause I can't draw to save my life, and then I did a simple background in GIMP. The slash blood effect is from 2minutetabletop.com and the sound FX is something I found on KZbin.

On defense you o ly need to meet the level, not beat, so those skeletons didn't hurt Norvella and Penley in the first round.

@Mr.Damarorfi I just bought the book and started reading the rules, but in the I dex of rules at the back, page 84 defense rolls "equal or better." But I totally understand jumbling all the rules together. A lot fo the games are similar.

@@kurtcriscione316 Hi, just checked the book myself and found on page 53 the Defense Roll Failure. Defense Roll Failure: if his (character) Defense roll is equal to or lower than the monster’s level, or if the character rolls a natural (unmodified) 1, the character takes ONE wound. So from what I can see, 2 different rules for the same situation!

Ok so I just read the two rules side by side and they basically mean the same thing. Just the wording is different. So yeah... equal to or higher, take no damage. Will fix Norvella and Penleys health! Thanks

@@Mr.Damarorfi I'm not sure what ya'll are reading from?? The core rulebook states. "Defense Roll Success: If the character rolls higher than the monster’s level, or if he rolls a natural (unmodified) 6, the character takes no damage from the attack." "Defense Roll Failure: if his Defense roll is equal to or lower than the monster’s level, of if the character rolls a natural (unmodified) 1, the character takes ONE wound. Mark one life off the character’s profile. Some powerful monsters inflict TWO wounds on a successful hit, as explained in their monster table." So you have to roll higher than the monsters lvl to successfully defend. If not you take a wound.
