Earlier this year I started worshiping Morrigan in order to shed my people-pleasing trauma responses, to better understand my own mortality, and to find the strength to stand up for myself in the face of others - even people I once liked. Several months later, I have so much to thank Her for, having come a long way in a short amount of time. Crows and ravens have been sacred to me since I was a teenager, and now that I've heeded the Morrigan's call, I have a far better understanding of why that is. I wouldn't be the person I am today without Her.

Absolutely feel ya. Personally, I've been following Norse mythology since I was about 14, 18-ish years ago. I have always been fascinated with corvids as well (be it Hugin and Munin, Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven" or whatever else) and started broadening my horizons in terms of my faith in recent years. While Woden might be the god of the dead who fell in battle and Hel the goddess of the underworld, to me Morrigan feels much more like an aspect of death. Not in a sinister way, but more in a "part of life" way. The ravens lead our souls safely into the afterlife and before that, we should celebrate our lifes. To the Morrigan. Good night.
