Dont respec Astarion, use a character that you dont use much and just level them up once in between each pickpocket. Vendors inventory restocks every time any character levels up

If you talk with him with one character, switch to another character with the “hold” spell & cast it on him. You can steal everything & teleport out.

@@LuiH-rk3yr it’s better to do it with Arron because no other npc can see you. But if you have the performance skill from alfira or your a bard you can also distract any other npcs around any merchants with your music .

You can also just separate the thief character from the group, steal, then teleport (the thief) to camp. The vendor will accuse one of the remaining characters, but just act all innocent and they'll believe you.

Ive notice that sometimes vendor has like 800 gold and its too hard to steal all that, talk to him first and divide his money into stacks of 300 by taking 300 for an offer but putting it back. You have to steal 2 or 3 stacks of 300 but it rolls easier for each

Way too much work for too little reward. Use the Wyll Pact Weapon method. You can get all the items you want AND all the gold from all the vendors. I usually hit up the 3 vendors in the Grove (the halfling, Aunty, and Dammon) for anything useful and their gold, then level a character, hit up all 3, level a character, etc. Simple and effective.

You do not want to do all of this. Use Freezing spell I do not know the name but freeze the corrector. And press R2 And go to combat system then after that just steal it. After that, go to the camp. And long rest. Don't forget to steal everything he had😂😂 ez Not aside I think the Wizard use the freezing spell. I do not know the name of the spell. But that Spell you could use it to freeze anyone. So they could not do any tern until Break the spell

Too much work. Use Astarion and try like 3 times?! You can also wait a little bit after you selected the item you wanted to steal. For me it worked like 80%

For stealing,of course. :) But,the thief is also really good in a fight. Their stealth attacks do crazy damage.

​@@hexravenz8970 It's worth giving it a go. It was an informed decision on my part,looked around online and the consensus seemed to be thief was best. Play around with it and see if you like it. Also,makes Astarion a beast at lockpicking.

Think this is patched. lol. Somehow. I have the thief’s class, the dice roll is 20, I’ve failed about 20 times in a row.

I just tested it. It still works fine for me. It has not been patched yet. Although,the higher the amount the merchant has,the more difficult it is to steal. If it requires you to roll a 20,sell some stuff to the merchant to get the gold supply around 800 or so. Should lower the difficulty of the roll. Or try another merchant and follow the same steps.

If the merchant has 800G or so, just talk to him, you can divide his money by putting stacks of 300 or so into the trade window, then rejecting the trade, now the merchant will have stacks of 300 that you can steal easily.
