To the Rhythm of the Wind - Shortfilm

This film had to be under 5min of length (without the credits) so we had to cut off a lot and make the overall thing faster in pace to fit the criteria.
How it was made:
Script was written in a rush, took 1h30min to write.. it was later approved by the team and teacher. We then shot the film on two 2 mornings due to everyone's schedules. We worked on another film for 3 weeks really preparing it the best we could and we also shot test scenes and prepared the schedule BUT, we couldn't find actors. So in the end, we had to scrap that idea and that's why this was made in such a rush. The editing took sooooo long, we ran into a lot of issues with the sounds because of the way it was recorded, where it was recorded and the wind.
As for the soundtrack, it was made in as much time as the film itself. I'm planning on making a director's cut so I can see if there were ways of saving the final product from being of this quality. However, I'm still proud of it and the whole team worked really hard to make it worthwhile, it was a rollercoster of a ride. Anyways! hope you enjoyed! I'm planning on releasing the OST very soon!

Really nice story, some great dialog (admittedly had to use the subtitles). Really subtly acted. Music is good, the filming is good and the story well paced for the theme. Not sure if it's intentional but, if it is, great use of the cleaning scene as a allegory (not sure if that's the right term) for being there for each other in life generally. Anyway, if it was written and filmed in a rush it didn't feel like it when watching.
