About the speaker: Dr. Entaj Tarafder is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Plant Pathology, Guizhou University, China. He holds a Ph.D. in Mycology from the University of Calcutta, specializing in the taxonomy of Agaricus species. His research interests include molecular phylogenetic analysis, mushroom culture, and fungal disease management. With over 20 publications in high-impact journals, Dr. Tarafder has significantly contributed to the understanding of Basidiomycota taxonomy and fungal biodiversity. He has also held senior research fellow positions in notable projects and served as an invited co-teacher in various academic institutions. Dr. Tarafder is an editorial board member of MycoIndia and a peer reviewer for several reputed journals. He has been recognized with awards such as the Best Poster Presenter at the West Bengal State Science & Technology Congress. His technical expertise and dedication to mycology make him a valuable contributor to the scientific community.
