They're really trying to break Yuji's shounen spirit. When Sukuna and Mahito were laughing at him you could see the string snap. Only an episode prior did he say he'd probably not want to kill but has now been put in a situation where he throws that out the window. JJK is really good at showing human hypocrisy and deconstructing Yuji for acting like a shounen protagonist. Makes me worried for his mental state in the future.

From what Gojou said about Yuuji inheriting Sukuna’s techniques and how evil Sukuna is, I got the impression that Gojou’s endgame was for Yuuji to take all of Sukuna’s power for himself and then destroy Sukuna in their inner world. This would leave a set of some of the most powerful curse techniques in the hands of a jujutsu sorcerer, one who was hand picked by Gojou to become a leader in their organization. Kind of a long shot, but I like this.

It was never stated officially but since it's been told he used to be a human being before becoming a curse, I get the feeling he's "something else" (an immortal spirit? A ghost?). In the manga he keeps calling other curses "cursed spirits" as if he's different, and he really treats them differently along with humans as if he's above all other forms of life.

What I got from this is that the reason he can't form a pact with Yuuji when he asked here was because they already have a pact formed and thus can't create another one, hence him saying "good, he doesn't remember the pact". So Yuuji doesn't remember it, and of course Mahito doesn't know about the pact at all so he just assumes that Sukuna will be willing to be on his side, which Sukuna makes very clear isn't the case.

and so far there's no nakama powers on all the fights. it's always one guy out smarting the other with their techniques, or with terrain. Except for Gojo, but it's been established that the only reason the curses are in hiding is because of him. And the only way they fight is if Gojo is not available or the find a way to seperate him from the fight
