Yes, totally! This is how I feel about almost all of Toad’s work. I can’t always explain it, but the riffs and chord progressions that Todd puts into each song are magical, and to me, they are what sets Toad apart from Glen’s solo work.

What simple but elegantly fitting imagery! The primary scene in an abandoned greenhouse is aptly suited for the phrase about no longer having a place to sow seeds and watch them grow. The secondary setting beside a mature tree (conceivably on an well-worn homestead perhaps) is also pertinent given that the lyrics seem to allude to the reluctant acceptance of needing to move on from a life perennial in nature to one lived more ephemerally so. Wow!
