Can you frag in a tank? I been trying to find an answer to this for a while. If you have lots of large rock is there a way to frag without destroying the aquascape or removing that from the tank.

I tried the container full of rubble. They just kept falling down between the rubble. They are not looking very good. So I am not very happy with this method.

they must be in a little too much flow. try rubber bands with some netting over it very lightly that's how I have been doing it for about 10 years. I have even done many frags of this exact species that way. never had a problem. flow is never an issue with the netting. I even think they attach and heal quicker actually. no flow just isn't that good in my eyes ( just my opinion based on my success.)

My toadstool is massive and it is on my main rock that would disturb everything if I took it out of the tank. What about cutting like you did while it's still in the tank? Problems? Release of toxins? Thanks!

don't cut any type of coral in your tank, you need to take it out, the slime could be dangerous & there's a big chance of it getting infected, that's you dip it, before putting it back in your DT
