Going 4060 is only worth it if you want to be on the latest platform, still worse then the 3060 12gb because it has less vram (8 vs 12gb), 4060 has 128 bit memory bus vs the 256 bit on the 3060, and all 16 lanes are used on the 3060, not just 8

OMG, I built my 1st build in a while with that board last prime day/fantastech sale: B760M 12700KF 7900XTX then I just built a 12900KF moved the 7900XTX into that one for my main rig. I have a spare 3060 around I could move into the old build. Just went air cooler instead of AIO, nice TR ones a lesser 6pipe for the 12700KF, spent a little more on the more premium one.

I recently built a PC in that case, the Sama Q5, and it was pretty good for a 49 dollar case. I love how it looks, cable management is alright, the included ARGB case fans are decent and airflow is great. It is however constructed from vey thin metal sheets, so it flexes and bends easily, especially when the side panels are off.

I had the 360 version of the thermalright aio and it cooled my i7 13700k pretty well, and it was overclocked. I paid 70 for it on Amazon. Now I'm going full custom cooling in a new build and upgrading to i9 13900k but still great cooler

@@DevilsAdvocate669 It's a RX 7800 so that's around 120fps in Cyberpunk at 1080. upgrades are a little weak, because it's last generation Ryzen, but you could still drop in a 5800x3d. Getting a latest generation CPU and mobo would add around $200. Oh, and you don't need the peerless assassin. The stock cooler is fine.

I bought the Frozen Notte AIO, and the pump whine was honestly so annoying, I returned it. So if you're sensitive to noise, I would suggest to stay far away from it.

I don’t think the 3060 12gb was a good choice. This is a gaming PC it would’ve made much more sense to go with AMD. I own a 3060 12gb, but unlike the majority of PC Enthusiasts I understand its purpose.

Great point noting that you need to screw down the heatsink evenly. Even more so when you're screwing down 4+ screws. This process is called cross threading. Very important to cross thread all of your screws to ensure they don't back out.

Look I appreciate you guys but it's not the best gaming pc for "X" amount of money unless it's AMD. For a $1000 pc you could go with an AMD card that costs the same as a 3060 and you would have much better performance. RTX 3060 is a joke of a gpu because it can't even outperform an rx6600, a card that costs less than a RTX3050. Nvidia is gonna be an even worse choice than it is now once the RX6000 series cards get driver level FSR 3 Support. 3060 wont even have DLSS 3.5 frame generation and even the cards that do get it will only be able to use it on games that have it.

TIP: Keep the frozen notte pump under 4000 RPM. 2 of my notte's have died from the pump being at too high of a speed. 👍
