They are also terrible for cooling. Intake fans blow straight into a tempered glass panel, causing turbulent flow. And, as I know from my formal aviation training, this is no way to get good cooling performance. I just built in a mesh case - AP 201 - and I'm thinking tempered glass is so last decade. You can still show off if you turn on the lights. The fishtank cases are like the ultimate evolution of the fin on 1950s cars. They rose to epic proportions over the course of a few years and then just went extinct, almost overnight. Hell, my main PC looks almost retro at this point, being in a Zalman S2 TG, looking like 2016 wants their PC case back. But it has last gen hardware in it. At least the original iteration of the glass panel case had more or less straight through airflow. Intake in the front, exhaust in the back and top. This is literally how the first HAF case worked.

if your power supply can power a gpu then that would prob be the best move if you don’t have one. but if it doesn’t i have seen online that you can put normal atx power supplies in office machines. only issue is the office machines dont usually use 24pin for the motherboard so you have to buy a connector. i know dell optiplexs use 8pin to 24pin connectors if you add a new power supply. and there’s always ram if you are at 8gb. 16 seems to be the bare minimum for games now ☹️
