Thanks….im new, 8days in. Got a corn cob. Smoke it 3-5x per day. Stand, pouch, screen -got it! Stand for a cob? Yup, cause I’ll be investing in a few other pipes soon enough so this one can have some days off. Smoked cigars almost daily since Covid. So, I m not new to the smoke but the pipe world, the packing, the smoke density, the methods, keeping it lit, the pace…learning fast. I believe I’ll be smoking pipes for a long time. Seems I’ll sear my throat less with the pipe once I learn to pack it better and get a better flame thrower!

I love a Zippo pipe lighter... I just change out the insert to a butane fuel type. Works perfect and it's minimally bothered by the wind. It stays lit when my more expensive lighters won't.

Real talk. I've been thinking i need to stop smoking weed. But i like to relax and was seeing this as an alternative. I didn't realize we'd be facing the exact same problems with pipe smoking. Nor realized there were highly manufactured tools to do it. Im rethinking some things now.

I just quit dipping tobacco 6 days ago. Dipping seems to upset my stomach badly. But I enjoy tobacco so much. Just might give a pipe a chance to be able to still enjoy tobacco.

Hi, I just subscribed to your channel! I am a woman who enjoys fine whiskey and cigars. I am just getting started into pipe smoking. I bought a 1960's Dr. Grabow from an antique store yesterday! I just got a bag of Captain Black Cherry tobacco today! Ordered the wooden pipe tool you showed, a bunch of pipe cleaners, and a bag. I tell my friends I'm becoming a sophisticated old man! Haha! My father just recently got me interested in pipes, so I picked up a few things not that long ago to smoke a pipe with him every so often. I bought that exact lighter. Also I have watched a few videos to just learn some basics and educate my self some more on pipe etiquette and I have to say you have been better then most on explaining and showing. I've smoked before, and as much as I like pipes and tobacco, I still don't want to smoke too often for health reasons. But any occasional pipes or cigars won't hurt. I won't never smoke them again

Man I've been doing it wrong for over 30 years....I use an old golf tee as a tamper and pick and the heel of my boot to knock out the bowl 🤣🤣

I switched to a pipe about a year ago. I smoked cigarettes for about 20 years and had to quit. Plus my wife absolutely hates cigarette smoke but doesn’t mind when I put a good aromatic in my pipe.

Really just depends on what 3 you have and what you want. I would recommend venturing to different materials though. Corn cob, briar, meerschaum, clay, etc
