I’m glad that Tobari-san is invested in the story but I wish the en chat would give streamers some space to recollect themselves when they are heavily affected before they start spamming “welcome to Honkai”. I know everyone’s excited but we should also be considerate towards the person who’s having a breakdown live for our entertainments.

This feels less and less like people enjoying the stream than just them checking off their list of expectations of what the streamer might do. It sadly lost the sentimental value of the experience if they're watching it just to go through the motion. Tobari-san is a gem with how attached she is to the story and characters as well as her strong emotions and i hope she'd find her time here in Honkai an enjoyable one.

@@yan131 The thing is, there's no contextual connection between the players since the relationship between himeko and the rest of the cast, neither does the setting, hold any resemblance to the real world or real people. I have been looking at these kind of reactions from Honkai and Genshin fans but all I can say is, Honkai has a huge simp mentality (despite how relatively boring 90% of the main story is), while Genshin fans are a lot more delusional and sensitive. You should also take into account of how people kept spoiling new players with "Himeko Q.Q" or in genshin, "there's a mole on Yelan, That's Himeko!". Like, can you guys just stop? It's been 5 years or some shit. Is honkai that trash that the only memorable thing from 30+ main story chapters was that one character from the game? Like cmon dude, just chill. It's just a character with barely any screen time who suddenly got a whole arc and died; whose backstory also omitted the "how she met" and got close to Kiana, the mc. You guys are reacting like she's the best character ever but there's barely enough depth and story building for it. The only thing that was cool about the animation was the animation and the soundtrack despite its generic buildup: gilgamesh kiana, naruto vibe with possession, power of friendship or love, sensei dying for her student like in HxH, etc. It's not that great. @@Qopa Let's be honest, we can't control those toxic fans same as Genshin community, they basically did the same thing like you said, people comparing people defending, that's internet. I can admit Honkai fans did spoiled too much by now, they just want to share the story but too aggressive on it. Genshin fans are also full of simp, you can obviously see that there's always genshin characters comparing wars in the community like this character is better than that, this character playstyle is boring. We don't do that in Honkai. Firstly, i assume you play through the whole mainstory ( 29 chapters only ) already. there's no way the story will be 90% boring, the majority can say that it's not, unless you're in the minority where they just want to hate. And i'm sure people comment a lot about other chapters and characters as well, you just got caught up in the same type of comments which is about Himeko, the character that appeared in lots of chapters ( more or less 11 chapters ) which it's not barely any screentime. The thing is Himeko's teaching not only affect Kiana only but others, seems like you forgot the other students. If the story really is boring to you, you wouldn't keep playing the game until now( i assume you play through the story here),then you can quit no need to struggle. IF you don't even play or play a little, then all your barking is just pure bullshit. Also, if you think people overreacting to a fictional character is shit then don't mind them just easy like that. People think she's best character, meaning that's them not you, you can't change their mind, so no need to get angry at a fictional character. If everything is shit to you then okay, you do you.
