My father is EXACTLY like De Niro's character in the film. The temperment, the sadism, the tone of his voice and his phrasing. It felt like a home movie at times.

My father was exactly the same, exhibiting the same behavioral patterns and thinking he was better than anyone. Whenever I see De Niro, I see my father - any movie.

I once worked a birthday party for His twins, at the end staff about 20, lined up for a thank you hand shake from Bobby D, he was gracious with everyone but he was very reluctant to shake my hand, i thought he knows im Sicilian.
