6:42 carpenter couldn't handle Press 8:02 sonnet annoyed at press trying to dance around her while ball is lobbed behind her press is turning into a beast and other players can't take it she looks very deceivingly delicate and introvert but she's coming out confidently and gradually ..she has more in her than she lets on so as not to shock her supporters

People did want women's soccer to be more like men's, right? I've never liked Horan, anyway. She thinks she's better than she is, always taking long shots that inevitably go high. Like, you have teammates, find a way to get one open, and pass the ball. I think she just figures one of them's bound to go in, and she'll always be remembered for it. If she plays like this on the WNT we're doomed.

@@kimsechrist4139 - you should see what Horan has done for the USWNT, you will like her. She run over any defenders to score a goal or an assist. lol The opposing teams will put 3 or 4 defenders around her and they all fall down. hahahaha

@@sandogdy7175 I have seen her play for the USWNT. I'm not talking about running over defenders. In fact, considering the difference in styles, it kind of proves my point. She wants to be a big deal, and she's not (relatively speaking). National play isn't about running over defenders. That's NWSL thinking. Sometimes it can't be helped, but if it's happening consistently, then she needs to learn to find a pass sooner and have nothing to do with the goal, or pass, shake her defender, and get forward for an average/easy goal.She does this, but almost grudgingly. She should be happy with that. It's how all the vets got famous.

I understand sometimes its an instinct to play a bit aggressive in this game but when u foul someone like that by grabbing them and making it obvious it’s a bit hard to understand y would they do that.

No it was just that Sonnet was the last line of defense and she knew she had to do something or Amy was going to have a free run on Adrianna Franch. Sometimes that does happen player will commit a foul rather than give up the score. It was the same last year in the NFC Championship Game when Nickel Robey Coleman committed the pass interference. He admitted he knew he was beat so he admitted that he knew he was beat and was willing to take the foul. Only difference was He didn't get called and in this one Emily did. That's all that happened and basically Amy overreacted.

She was getting beat and didn't like it. World Class players tend to be the ones who are the most competitive, cause that's what gives them the drive to want to BE World Class in the first place. You will not find a WNT player who has not played dirty at some point. Except maybe Press, cause she just runs past everyone. Even the hailed Tobin gets her fouls in, and then smiles like 'you can't card me!'
