Pat literally signed Jimmy to a max contract extension in 2021 and knew he would be signing up for the declining years of Jimmy's career and fully aware of his past injury issues. I'm all for players getting as much money as possible and not taking discounts from teams-they should do what’s best for themselves and their families. After all, teams will always do what’s best for the organization and often don’t care about a player’s future or their family’s well-being. That said, a player should honor their contract and play until it’s up. Getting paid millions but choosing not to play just because you want to be traded or are unhappy isn’t right.
