I just got the Big Trail figure today, and it is amazing. Almost all of the joints use ratchets, and they are strong enough to allow the figure hold poses phenomenally. The paint is a little iffy in some places, but it's done well for the most part. I'd say this is a good purchase for anyone interested.

You can find them pretty cheap around 30 bucks each on ebay but pretty rare occasion. I live in Asian so I can get um quite cheap but yeah quite expensive

Most of that price is due to it being shipped as a one-off to you from Asia. If they were shipping more at a time to a local distributor, it wouldn't be -as- much. Even then, it'd still be a bit high. That said, for a toku toy that's not meant as a collector's item(with a collectors price) like the soc megazord, it's got some great articulation.

It's obvious that these have a lot of substance in them. No hollow parts, no cheap plastic, these are made to be sturdy TOYS. Plus the size and the paint, and everything. They are meant to be played with, not put on a shelf, and they can endure. I'd love to have any of these Tobots!

The Bison To key can actually turn into a tiny ox if what I have seen on a different website is correct. There is a figure called "Great admiral" that has a dragon as a to key and it becomes a longer to key dragon and also can be stored on the vehicle mode.

In the English version of Tobot V is called "Tobot galaxy detectives" and Big Trail is still Big Trail and Troll is called Beast and the combined mode is called Big Beast

These are incredible considering they're targeted at children. And about the price, in South Korea where I live, (and the toy originates from) each is about KRW 30,000 a piece (without discount) (that's I guess 38 dollars or sth). So for both it's about 76 bucks total. And balt, be sure to check out the new power train fig. My son just loves it along with the whole Master V set (which combines)! Keep up the good work!!

Eh, not really a fan of the 'obvious legs/no wait they're arms' thing Troll has going. Like you know they were always meant to be legs, they were designed to be nothing _but_ legs, but the guys in charge told you to make them arms at the last possible second; so you just throw in a couple of fists inside the bottoms of the feet and ship it out. It just comes across like they're not even trying with Troll, whereas with Big Trail they fit in almost perfectly as both. They're worth nowhere near $100 to me, but I wouldn't mind spending half that for them since they're roughly leader-class size. They have really poor articulation (especially Troll), but the bulkiness kinda makes up for it and they "combine", so yeah I wouldn't mind tossing out $50 for 'em.
